About Me

Hi!  My name is Stephanie Vilchis.  I began my love of sewing as a very little girl, watching my mother make my dresses, fabric dolls, fabric finger puppets and many other fun things!  By the time I was 9 years old, I started tracing my Barbie Dolls and sewing their clothes on my mom's Singer sewing machine.  This developed into sewing my own clothes as a teenager.  Which then led me to taking some sewing classes in college!  To this day, I continue to sew my clothes, doll clothes, my grandchildren's clothes, quiet books, quilts and just about anything else that comes up!  On and off through the years, I have taught friends how to sew or quilt and I love doing it!  This brings me to where I am now with starting a sewing school.  I look forward to working with you, sharing my knowledge of sewing and helping you meet your personal goals for sewing!
